The starting point for the ate 4 collection was minimalist industrial design from the 50s and 60s. Each piece was created with an aesthetic of simplicity and precision in mind. Thinly striped linens, reminiscent of workers' uniforms during that decade, have been blended elements of retro style.
The print used in this collection is an interpretation of a sewing machine motor, inspired by the blueprints and sketches of industrial designers. Lyocell was introduced into atelier b.'s range of sustainable fibres.
